with SHAYE.

We travelled to London to record our own music with SHAYE, a producer and mentor, at The Control Room. The session belongs to the music-making side of Love Yours: time spent working on our own material, with the recording itself at the centre.

It is one particular room and one part of a larger practice. Alongside the releases and finished films, there are sessions like this: the work taking shape before it reaches an audience.

We also documented the trip. The LDN studio vlog brings that session into the visual story of Love Yours, giving the music a setting and keeping a view of the work around it.

The excerpt above is a short passage from that film. It sits alongside our music videos and behind-the-scenes pieces as another way into the practice: an encounter with the session itself, before the presentation of a finished release.

Recording music and making films have grown alongside each other within Love Yours. This trip holds both in the same frame: our own music, a studio session with a producer and mentor, and a film made around that experience.
