One question first, because it's colour: have you had a patch test with us in the last six months?
Done — we'll add a two-minute patch test 48 hours before your colour. Drop in, dab on the inside of the elbow, walk out. It's how the insurance works and, more to the point, how your skin stays happy.
Whose chair? The one decision a salon booking actually turns on.

Deposit: colour services take a 50% deposit at booking; it comes straight off the bill on the day.
Life happens: move or cancel up to 48 hours before and the deposit moves with you, every time, no quibble. Inside 48 hours the slot can't be re-filled, so the deposit covers it.

The house rules

Every one of them costs us something to keep, so every one of them has its reason on the reverse. Turn any card over.
Colour appointments take half at booking, and it comes straight off the bill on the day.
A three-hour colour slot that doesn’t show costs the chair its afternoon. The deposit isn’t a penalty — it’s how two colourists keep four honest rows a day each instead of overbooking eight.
Move or cancel two days out and the deposit moves with you, every time, no quibble.
Two days is enough for the column to re-fill the slot. Inside that, it usually can’t — so the deposit covers the chair rather than the next client’s prices quietly covering it.
First colour with us, or six months since your last? A two-minute patch stop, 48 hours before.
PPD allergy is rare and serious, and it can arrive after years of no reaction. Two minutes at the door beats three hours in A&E — no colourist worth the name skips it.
