Nail studio · Fallowfield
Ten nails.
No shortcuts.
One desk, one artist, ninety honest minutes for a full gel set — and a five-day chip guarantee written on the menu, not whispered at the till. Book the desk on this page; the week's plan is right below.
No app, no account, no marketplace. Booking lives here — nothing cross-sells you another studio at the moment you've chosen this one.
The week's plan
Two hands per slot. Never three.
A gel set takes the time it takes. The plan below is the studio's real working sheet — one client's two hands per slot, drawn — and booking below writes yours into it.
When a studio runs "quick slots", the minutes come out of your prep or your cure. Neither survives five days — which is why the guarantee and the honest slot lengths are the same promise wearing two hats.
Every set carries five days of cover, so the sheet carries it too. Tap a booked slot and the strip draws that set's five days, landing on the repair time held open at the end of them. The count underneath is the part nobody publishes: an uncounted guarantee is a sentence, not a promise — and it is written down here so neither of us has to remember whose fault a Tuesday chip was.
Held for repairs — kept open across your five days, and it ends when they do.
Booked 10:00, BIAB overlay — covered to day five.
Repairs booked this week: 1, against 26 appointments on the sheet.
Demonstration figures
The plan you see is the sheet on the desk. If a slot's open here, it's open — no "ring to check".
Book the desk
Pick a service, a day and a time.
If it's your first gel or BIAB visit, the patch test is part of booking — a two-minute drop-in, 48 hours before, because a reaction discovered mid-set helps nobody.
- 1 Service
- 2 Day
- 3 Time
What are we doing?
Times are honest — a gel set is 75 minutes because that's what prep, colour and cure actually take.
Gel systems need a patch test: have you had one with us in the last year?
Added. Drop in any time we're open, 48 hours or more before your appointment — a dab of the gel system behind the ear, out the door in two minutes. Gel allergy is rare but it's for life once it starts, and a studio that skips this step is spending your nails to save two minutes.
Which day?
Tuesday to Saturday. A struck-through day is fully planned.
Which time?
Slots are the honest length of your service. A struck-through time is already on the plan.
Deposit: £10 on gel and BIAB bookings, off the bill on the day. Move or cancel up to 24 hours ahead and it moves with you, always.
Running late? Ten minutes' grace — after that the set that fits the time left is the set we do. Rushed cure is how chips happen, and the guarantee means chips are our problem.
The patch test
Two minutes, forty-eight hours early, no charge.
Every studio mumbles this one as an inconvenience. Here it is the ticket you leave with — printed, dated, and already built into the booking sheet above.

Printed on the back
Issued by Wren Okafor. Eight years on nails, the last four at this desk. VTCT Level 3 in nail technology, trained on both systems the menu carries, and the person who answers the phone, does your set and honours the guarantee — because they are all the same person.
One desk isn't a limitation, it's the quality control: nobody rushes your cure to start the next client, because there is no next client until yours is finished.
Why forty-eight hours. Gel allergy is rare, but once it starts it is permanent — and it ends your gel-wearing life, not just one set. Two minutes against forever is not a close call, which is why the booking sheet adds the patch stop for you instead of asking you to remember it.
Not needed for a manicure with no colour, a removal, or any visit inside a year of your last patch test with us. The sheet above only asks the question when the answer changes something.
